In this episode of The Source, we interview Greek psychologist and human rights activist Efi Latsoudi. She is a co-founder of “Lesbo Solidarity” and a member of the “Aegean support team for refugees”, a Greek organization funded by Proasyl. Efi is also a co-founder of the open refugee camp Pikpa, where she organized assistance mainly for women, girls and pregnant women. The self-organized, humane camp for vulnerable refugees had been operating on Lesvos since 2012 and was forcibly closed by the Greek authorities in October 2020.
